Churche's Mansion, Nantwich
A national landmark - one of the oldest and most important properties in South Cheshire Timber-framed Elizabethan Mansion House Churche's Mansion was built in 1577 for a wealthy merchant and remains in wonderful condition with many original features. It is Grade I Listed, with a wealth of history to enjoy both inside and out. It is very rare for a merchant's house to have survived in such original condition for over 430 years.
The Mansion is currently owned by Adams Antiques (specialists in Oak & Country Antique Furniture). In 2010 Adams Antiques was rated one of the 50 Best Antique Shops in the UK by The Independent newpaper.
Visitors frequently comment on the lovely peaceful, calm atmosphere inside. The Walled Garden to the rear is an oasis of tranquillity.
